Ethan Hallows
I grew up in the Heber Valley. Graduated from Wasatch High School. Received an associate’s degree from Snow College and a BS in Rangeland Ecology and Management from Utah State University. I’ve worked several seasonal jobs in wildlife, fire, fuels, and range with DWR and USFS. I’ve worked as a rangeland manager with SITLA for 7 years. I have been a member of SRM since 2016. I participated in the student contests with the USU range team. I value the Utah SRM and the connections it has given me. I am happy to give back by serving as a board member.
Curtis Mason
Curtis Mason currently lives in Richfield, Utah, with his wife and three children, working as a Range Management Specialist for the NRCS. Previously, Curtis was in Cedar City studying range management at SUU, earning a degree in Natural Resources with an emphasis in Range Management. He grew up in Castle Dale, enjoying sports and lots of time in the mountains and desert hunting and camping with family. He enjoyed working (and playing) at his grandparents’ ranch in Emery. After graduating from high school, Curtis worked for the Forest Service during the summers. First in Ferron on the Manti La-Sal, then in Cedar City on the Dixie, then to Ephraim for the Manti La-Sal, and finally to Richfield to work on the Fishlake National Forest. While in Richfield, Curtis took the opportunity to switch gears and join the NRCS where he’s currently employed.
